A family-owned company of businesses active in the delivery of safe gambling entertainment experiences. MERKUR Bingo, formerly known as Beacon Bingo, was acquired by the group and required a fresh brand design to align it with the wider group branding and reposition their venues in the constantly changing bingo market.

About Time began providing digital strategy, social media management and content marketing for one of the UK’s biggest bingo brands, MERKUR Bingo (formally, Beacon Bingo part of the Praesepe group). Our brief was to rebrand their channels as part of a larger ongoing rebrand from Praesepe to MERKUR, drive engagement, increase footfall and encourage customer loyalty.

Online bingo is a hugely popular activity in the UK, especially amongst women, so we knew there was potential to build a genuine online community for MERKUR Bingo. 

Our mission was to create fun content that engaged their fans and drove word-of-mouth. We sparked conversations and sharing activity by providing a bit of happiness every day with fun memes, puzzles and competitions. 

MERKUR Bingo fans loved our content. Their channels became a model of highly engaging community management. We also ran industry-leading campaigns using innovative techniques, such as our live video stream on the Big Money Event on Facebook and The Big Win Win
